PLM Patron: your business in your pocket

The owner’s free app, included with every PLM software (except Accounting and School). Sales, cash, stock and alerts of your businesses on your phone, read-only, even when you are far away.

  The secure web version opens in Safari. Tap Share then “Add to Home Screen”: it then opens like an app.

Link a business (only once)

1. In the PLM software, on the business’s computer: Administration → Business → “PLM Patron” card → “Link a phone”. A QR code and a 6-digit code appear (valid 10 minutes).
2. In PLM Patron: “Add a business”, then scan the QR code or type the code.
3. Tick what this phone may see (sales, cash and differences, stock, alerts; staff and salaries only if you want), then confirm.
4. Done: figures arrive by themselves, a few minutes after each sale. Several businesses? Repeat for each one: they add up in the same app.

Home

Your businesses, today’s turnover and the state of each computer (linked, offline since when).

A business

Today’s turnover with cash and Mobile Money, cash float and drawer, end-of-shift counts, tables not yet paid, sales by hour, full list of out-of-stock items.

Alerts

Cash difference, out-of-stock product sold today, computer left offline: a notification reaches the phone.

Reports

Day, week or month compared with the previous period, to share by WhatsApp or as a PDF.

Questions

Ready-made answers: best product, busiest hour, comparison with last week…

Settings

Light or dark mode, notifications, linked businesses (you can remove one at any time).

Help

Figures do not change

The business’s computer needs internet. Without network it keeps the figures and sends them as soon as it is back; the software’s “PLM Patron” card shows “No internet since…”.

The code is refused

It is only valid 10 minutes: ask for a new one in the software. After 5 wrong codes, wait 15 minutes.

I changed phone

Install the app on the new phone and link each business again with a new code.

Is the app paid?

No. PLM Patron is free for PLM customers, with no subscription.

The software only sends signed summaries, never the database, passwords or customer numbers. The phone cannot change anything in the software.
